About Basileian ministries
What is a Baslieian?
Basleia is a Greek word that means kingdom or dominion. To be a basileian is to be a kingdom minded individual. We are focused on transforming every area of life for the glory of God.
Ethic
We believe that Gods law word is the standard by in which we should live. The commandments, judgements, statutes and ordinances found in the Bible are for our good and for the good of all mankind. The Creator of the universe has prescribed how to institute justice and He has given His people a law that they should walk accordingly.
Deut. 4:5-9, Rom. 3:31
Gospel
At Basileian Ministries, we believe that faith in Jesus Christ is the only way one can be saved. To inherit eternal life, one must repent from their sins and believe that Jesus lived a sinless life, that He died for their sins, was buried then rose from the grave on the third day and then ascended into heaven 40 days later and is now sitting at the right hand of the Father. Salvation is a gift from God and is not based on any works that we perform. We also believe that we are to proclaim the gospel of the kingdom that Jesus Christ spoke of, and that good news is that one day the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea. (Hab. 2:14) We believe that this will take place by the means that the Lord has decreed and that is through the great commission. Luke 4:43, Matt.28:18
Monergistic
We believe salvation is of the Lord and the only thing we contribute is the sin that causes us to need salvation.
“But I said to you that you have seen Me, and yet do not believe “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never cast out. “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. “Now this is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing but raise it up on the last day. "For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.” John 6:36-40
Trinitarian
The doctrine of the Trinity means that there is one God who eternally exists as three distinct Persons — the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Stated differently, God is one in essence and three in person. These definitions express three crucial truths: (1) the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct Persons, (2) each Person is fully God, (3) there is only one God.
Eschatology
We believe that Jesus will return at the end of all things to judge the quick and the dead. We believe in a physical bodily resurrection. Before these things take place, we believe that the majority of the world will be transformed for and by Christ, and this takes place by each regenerate person living according to Scripture being salt and light on this earth. 1 Cor. 15:12-29, Matt. 5:13-20
Covenant Theology
We believe that there is one covenant that was progressively revealed throughout time which is known as the covenant of grace this covenant has had different administrations from Adam until its complete revelation at the incarnation and work of Jesus Christ which is known as the new covenant. We do not acknowledge a covenant of works since Yahweh is sovereign over all things and any covenant, He goes into is a covenant of grace
outreach
Evangelistic
We believe that the Lord wants us to go out to the public square to confront culture with the law and the gospel. We go out into the public square on a regular basis to show our love for our neighbor.
Abolitionists
We are abolitionist and we believe we should be striving for the immediate abolition of human abortion. This means we should put forth and support bills of abolition that criminalize all parties involved in the intentional murder of the unborn child. We go to local abortion mills to preach the gospel and to rescue the preborn from being murdered. The blood of these children cries out for justice.
